How To Check The Status Of Your Dispute On DHgate

Disputes sometimes occur during the purchase process, so how do you check the progress of the dispute? And what do you need to pay attention to?

Escalation Timeframe:
1. VIP Buyer: from the 3rd to the 30th day since the return and refund has been opened.
2. Regular Buyer: from the 5th to the 30th day since the return and refund has been opened.
3. System escalated: the 30th day since the return and refund has been opened.
If the seller responds to your request but cannot make an agreement with you, the dispute (item not received as described) will be escalated to the Resolution Team after 10 days (the dispute is that the item not received after 30 days). You can also escalate it manually.
How do I request DHgate mediation for my dispute?
If you and your seller can’t reach an agreement within 5 days, we suggest you request mediation by clicking "Request DHgate Mediation" in your account. Click Here to check the video.
Step 1: click “View Return & Refund”. ?

Step 2: If you and your seller can’t reach an agreement within 5 days, we suggest you request DHgate mediation by clicking "Request DHgate Mediation" in your account.

Choose “Dispute Reason” and the outcome you expect from DHgate’s mediation. If the seller agrees to your proposal, the system will immediately proceed with the solution you agreed to and close the dispute. Otherwise, you should upload some evidence to your DHgate.com account within 3 days, then Resolution Center will give you a final resolution.

How do I close a dispute before it ends automatically?
When you reach an agreement with the seller for a dispute solution before it ends automatically and wants to close this dispute immediately, you can click “Close Dispute” in the status of awaiting evidence. However, once you have closed the dispute you can’t open it again.
